Union Church is a community-based fellowship serving Herald Harbor and Anne Arundel County since 1926. For nearly 100 years we have been seeing lives changed through the teaching of the Bible and the life found in friendships based on Christian love.

We meet weekly on

Sundays at at 10 AM for adult Bible Studies

Sundays at 11 AM for the main church service

Sundays at 11 30 AM for Kids Sunday School

Wednesdays at 6 30 PM Mid Week Bible Study

Thursday at 6 30 PM for Prayer Meeting

and host frequent get-togethers at the church and on occasion off-site. After the service we have a time for light food offerings and conversation followed by an opportunity for Q&A with the pastor. We recently started a Wednesday evening Bible study and Thursday evening Prayer meeting- all are welcome at 6 30 PM at the church.

We offer a children’s program during our Sunday morning service staffed by a trained and screened workers that will love and invest in your child in a safe setting.

Our lead pastor is Duane George. Pastor Duane is a graduate of Maryland Bible College and Seminary. He found faith in Jesus Christ as a teen.
He was ordained in 1997 and has served as a missionary in Africa, both Ghana and Uganda for more than 10 years.
Pastor Duane has been married for 15 years now and has a daughter. He teaches in Bible College at MBC&S, his alma mater where he graduated from in 1988 with an Associates in Missiology and in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Biblical Theology.
While serving as a Financial Missions Director at GGWO, pastor Duane travelled for the ministry into over 60 countries throughout the world.
While pastor Duane has been involved in missions, teen ministry, radio and prison ministry over the years, his latest joy has been pastoring the Union Church of Herald Harbor for the past five and a half years.

He took on the pastorate at Union Church in 2018 after the retirement of long time pastor Jack Evans.
